Regional innovation profiles highlight the diversity of NRW's innovation landscape
With the regional innovation profiles, NRW.innovativ provides an overview of the core questions regarding the status quo and the potential with regard to regional innovation activities.
The following questions, among others, are examined:
- To what extent do research and development, start-up activities or patent activities shape the regional innovation landscape?
- Which future topics are the focus of innovation efforts?
- Which key actors, networks and clusters play a crucial role?
In partnership with the regionen.NRW network and the state government's competence center NRW.innovativ, regional innovation profiles were developed for the state's nine economic regions.
They form the starting point for the creation of a common picture of innovation events in North Rhine-Westphalia, which results from the regional innovation systems.
The innovation profiles also offer indicative access to the regional structure and provide an overview of important innovation topics and provide information on regional network and research activities.
