💡 Exchange in a unique setting: In the historic light tower in Solingen, Minister of Economic Affairs @MonaNeubaur discussed the future of North Rhine-Westphalia with the Junior Chamber of Commerce NRW. The focus was on economic transformation, climate protection, and the outlook for the economy.

For the first time since 2022, North Rhine-Westphalia's economic output has seen a slight increase, rising by 0.3%, somewhat faster than the national average (+0.2%). Not a huge leap, but a first sign: with the right measures, a turnaround is possible.

Improved navigation, a new design, and more content: LANUK NRW is modernizing the NRW Energy Atlas. Minister @Mona Neubaur: "This facilitates planning, implementation, and investment on the ground – so we all benefit from affordable, secure, and clean energy."

Inland waterway vessels reliably transport goods, contribute to stable supply chains, and relieve congestion on our roads. Minister @MonaNeubaur discussed challenges and opportunities for safe and clean logistics in North Rhine-Westphalia with industry representatives at the Port of Neuss.

Small molecule – big impact!💧 At the themed evening “Hydrogen for structural change in NRW”, Minister of Economic Affairs @MonaNeubaur met with representatives from politics, science and business and spoke about concrete applications and perspectives of hydrogen.

The foundry industry is crucial for the German economy – especially in North Rhine-Westphalia, the largest foundry location with 25% of production. 💪
Yesterday, Minister @MonaNeubaur spoke with industry, politicians, and business leaders about solutions to finally provide further relief to the sector.

Women are still underrepresented in many skilled trades. The Dortmund Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HWK Dortmund) has therefore launched the "Strong Women, Strong Skilled Trades" campaign to inspire more women to pursue careers in the skilled trades. Mona Neubaur, the campaign's patron, was at the information booth in the North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament today. 💪

🇯🇵🤝 North Rhine-Westphalia: At the reception hosted by the Japanese Consulate General in Düsseldorf to celebrate the Emperor's birthday, Minister @MonaNeubaur emphasized the importance of the partnership. Around 650 Japanese companies bring innovations and technologies to North Rhine-Westphalia, thereby strengthening our economy. 🚀

Structural change means concrete investments in our region. Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection @MonaNeubaur today presented the Wurmtal School in Würselen with a grant of €8.7 million. A modern school for better opportunities and a strong Rhenish mining region. 🌱

North Rhine-Westphalia is taking responsibility for the security and defense of Europe. With today's congress, http://Defence.NRW, the state is providing further impetus for innovation and cooperation. In the future, the cluster organization http://Defence.NRW will coordinate these activities.
