With the start of the summer holidays, the NRW holiday internship weeks also begin! ☀️ Minister @MonaNeubaur welcomed interns to the Ministry of Economic Affairs today, who are using their holidays to get a taste of the daily work routine at a state authority. 🤳

Five years after the devastating floods, North Rhine-Westphalia yesterday commemorated the 49 people who lost their lives in our state. Minister @monaneubaur: "This day must remind us more than ever not to let up in our commitment to tackling the consequences of the climate crisis."

At the "KRITIS Stromnetz NRW" (Critical Infrastructure Electricity Grid NRW) exchange today, Minister @MonaNeubaur consulted with grid operators on how risks can be better identified and response capabilities strengthened in emergencies.

After 42 years of service, including 10 years as Director of the Geological Survey of North Rhine-Westphalia, Dr. Ulrich Pahlke is retiring. Minister @MonaNeubaur bid him farewell personally today. All the best, good health, and good luck! 🍀

8,000 square meters for climate protection: The Aachen Justice Center has a new photovoltaic system on its roof. Minister @monaneubaur officially opened the largest photovoltaic system currently installed on a building in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia today, together with Justice Minister Limbach. 🌞
