Healing through transformative materials
The Cluster of Excellence “Transformative Medical Materials: Design, Production, Translation” (TransMedMat) at RWTH Aachen University focuses on the development of groundbreaking biomedical materials. These innovative materials are designed to adapt to biological conditions and work interactively in the human body to usher in a new era in medicine. With an interdisciplinary team of scientists from various disciplines, the project aims to take these materials from basic research to clinical use. The research focuses on creating patient-friendly solutions that enable dynamic interaction with their environment and can adapt to various stimuli.
