Accessible AI solutions for SMEs and the public sector

The European flagship project DeployAI aims to make artificial intelligence (AI) more accessible and usable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the public sector. With a €28 million grant from the European Commission, DeployAI will develop an AI technology platform based on the principles of trust, ethics and transparency. The platform should be manufacturer-independent and offer fair access to top AI technologies “Made in Europe”.

To promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the European AI community, DeployAI plans to introduce matchmaking services and an interactive landscape tool. The project will also support the integration of the AI on Demand Platform (AIoDP) into the European AI ecosystem and play a central role in the implementation of the recently announced AI Factories and the GenAI4EU initiative.

A comprehensive AI resource catalog and marketplace aims to provide responsible AI resources and tools that promote the use and transfer of European AI solutions. This project aims to democratize access to AI technologies and ensure digital sovereignty in a strategically important technology area.

With 28 partners from 13 European countries and a balance between public and private organizations, DeployAI represents a wide range of skills and resources that contribute to the development and implementation of the platform. The opening event in Berlin marked the official start of this ambitious project.
