Innovation Prize 2024: Driving force for biotechnology innovations
The Innovation Prize 2024, awarded by the Working Group of BioRegions in Germany, highlights significant achievements in the field of biotechnology and medical technology. This renowned prize, which is being awarded for the seventeenth time, is aimed at scientists and research institutions that can demonstrate outstanding research results and inventions with high innovation potential.
What will be awarded?
The focus of the award is on patent applications or patents that have already been granted in the areas of modern biotechnology and medical technology.
Eligibility
to participate: Scientists and legal entities under public law who are either inventors or owners of the relevant patent applications or patents are eligible to participate. Newly founded companies can also apply, provided they have not yet given up any significant sales or shares in the company.
Awarding and recognition
Three winners will each receive a prize worth 2,000 euros, and six finalists can hope for the audience prize of the same value. The award ceremony will take place during the German Biotechnology Days in April 2024 in Berlin, where the finalists will present their innovations to an international audience of experts.
Invitation to apply
Interested parties can apply until February 29, 2024 to become part of this event and present their innovative projects to a wider audience.
