Promoting start-up innovations in NRW

“Start-up Transfer.NRW” is a program run by the North Rhine-Westphalia state government and the European Union that provides financial support to innovative start-ups from universities. In the current round of the competition, eleven of 19 proposed projects were selected for funding, with a total budget of around 2.9 million euros.

Innovative start-ups: the core of economic and social transformation
The program aims to promote innovative products, services and processes from university founders. This initiative, which is part of the 40 million euro European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), ensures that creative scientific potential is put into practice in order to involve North Rhine-Westphalia in the business models of tomorrow.

Support for founders from universities and research institutions
