Registrations for the second round of funding are now possible.
The Federal Ministry of Economics has published a second funding guideline for the major European project in the area of cloud infrastructures and services (IPCEI-CIS). This major project aims to strengthen the digital competitiveness of companies and economies by developing their own capacities in central and decentralized data processing.
Additional companies, universities and research institutions can now apply to develop innovative technologies and practical applications. These are intended to support the future European “multi-provider cloud-edge continuum”.
The funding amount is up to 25 million euros per company and project, and the deadline for submitting project outlines is July 21, 2023.
Several key topics will be considered in this funding round, including mobility, energy efficiency, Industry 4.0, resilience and reliability of digital infrastructure, and health.
