New funding opportunities for ecological innovations in NRW
The innovation program for business models and pioneering solutions (IGP) from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) is opening a new chapter. With an impressive budget of 10 million euros, SMEs in NRW are in the spotlight to further advance the innovation ecosystem.
Business model innovations
The IGP sets the tone by not just concentrating on technological innovations. The focus is on promoting innovative organizational models and digital solutions, especially when it comes to resource protection and sustainability.
NRW as an ideas incubator
SMEs (including start-ups, self-employed people, social enterprises), as well as research institutions and universities that cooperate with these companies, have a golden opportunity! Topics such as circular economy, climate protection and energy transition are waiting to be addressed. The portal is open for participation applications until November 8th.
Future of the IGP
The IGP program is taking off! This call for funding is just the beginning. Regular calls for funding with various focuses are being planned, with a particular focus on young companies in North Rhine-Westphalia.
