AI, DeepTech and sustainability in the focus of the NRW-USA year 2023/2024
The “European AI Summit 2023” will take place on August 17th as a hybrid event and will be organized by Transatlantic AI eXchange, NRW.Global Business, digiHub Düsseldorf and KI.NRW as part of the “Digital Demo Day”. KI.NRW Managing Director Dr. Christian Temath will be one of the speakers at the event.
The event is part of the “NRW-USA Year 2023/2024”, an initiative by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia that aims to promote diplomatic, economic and cultural relations between NRW and the USA through numerous events in both regions.
Under the motto “Connecting American and European AI Experts in DeepTech and Sustainability”, the “European AI Summit 2023” is intended to build a bridge between AI experts from Europe and the United States. The event will take place on the Vision Stage of the “Digital Demo Day” in Düsseldorf and can also be followed live online.
A special format of the summit allows speakers to share their views and experiences in a maximum of five minutes. This focused approach enables effective knowledge sharing and provides diverse insights into different AI areas.
Dr. Christian Temath, Managing Director of KI.NRW, will speak at 5:30 p.m. together with other representatives of research institutions on the topic of “Transatlantic cooperation in research and development”. He will also take part in a panel discussion about DeepTech in NRW.
The event is aimed at European technology start-ups, founders, investors and incubators.
