Resource efficiency consulting promotes circular economy
The “Resource Efficiency Consulting” funding program offers support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from industry and trade in North Rhine-Westphalia. This program aims to increase resource efficiency and promote the transformation to a circular economy.
The consultations, which are financed by around 4 million euros in ERDF and state funds, are intended to support companies in realigning their business operations and production processes in accordance with the principles of the European Green Deal. The focus is on innovations that lead to a greater circularity orientation and more efficient use of resources.
SMEs with their headquarters or branch in North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as those with their headquarters or branch in the EU, are eligible to apply, provided the project is primarily implemented in North Rhine-Westphalia. Applications can be submitted via the EFRE.NRW.online portal, last on October 31, 2023.
The program serves to implement ERDF/JTF program priority 2 “SME-friendly NRW” and supports the specific goal of increasing sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and creating jobs in SMEs.
