Together for climate neutrality and innovation

The newly founded Bioeconomy Council of North Rhine-Westphalia has officially started its work. This expert committee, set up by the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, aims to strengthen North Rhine-Westphalia as a bioeconomy location. Under the leadership of Climate Protection Minister Mona Neubaur and the chairmen Prof. Katja Frühwald-König and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schurr, the council will work on developing a bioeconomy strategy for NRW, which should be completed by the end of 2025. The strategy process includes broad participation from interest groups and citizens.
