Cluster Conference 2023 – Geriatric Medicine in North Rhine-Westphalia
On March 7, 2023, the cluster conference “Alternative Medicine in North Rhine-Westphalia” took place in Düsseldorf, where experts and young scientists from various disciplines came together to exchange and network about current trends and developments in geriatric medicine. Over 100 participants from all over North Rhine-Westphalia took part in a varied program of workshops, lectures and networking opportunities. Medicine.NRW cluster in collaboration with the steering group at the Alternsmedizin.NRW lighthouse.

- Main lectures by Prof. Dr. Jürgen M. Bauer and Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Wahl (both University of Heidelberg)
- First public presentation of the Alternsmedizin.NRW
- Poster competition for young scientists – The three winners: Pia-Saskia Berg , Dr. Jessica Möltgen and Tobias Martin reported on their projects on personalized human-robot interaction in dementia, cross-sector care in rural areas and the change management necessary to sustainably introduce televisits in nursing homes.
