An exchange that sets industry trends: sustainability in focus
The topic “Sustainability meets quality management” was the focus of an exciting online exchange among industry experts on July 12, 2023. In current corporate structures, aspects of sustainability play an increasingly important role in quality management, with experience with management systems and the available resources being crucial.
Dr. Frank Bünting's presentation of the VDMA ESG survey from 2022 met with great interest. The discussions particularly focused on data sources, quality and suitable software tools. The upcoming sustainability reporting requirement primarily affects larger companies, but all companies will indirectly come into contact with it through their supply chains.
