Digital information event on tax support for research and development
On February 22nd, around 20 clusters and networks met in the digital exchange format NRW-Clusters meet.. with the Research Allowance Certification Office to find out more about the tax support for research and development through the research allowance introduced in January 2020.
During the event, Mr. Matigat presented general information as well as the two-stage application process. In Germany, all taxable companies that can submit applications for certification an unlimited number of times are eligible for funding. A special feature here is that there is no specific submission deadline for applications and applications can still be submitted for expired or ongoing projects.
