GEMESYS from Bochum achieved first place with a sustainable business model

Green innovations can help protect the climate in the long term. The aim of the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of the Environment is to strengthen the environmental economy in the state. Against this background, it launches the KUER.NRW business plan competition every year. On December 5th, Environment Minister Oliver Krischer named the winners for 2022. First place went to the start-up GEMESYS from Bochum, which is developing a novel computer architecture that improves energy efficiency and reduces CO 2 emissions .

The KUER.NRW business plan competition is aimed particularly at founders from the climate, environment, energy and resource conservation (KUER) sectors and is held on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport together with Pro Ruhrgebiet eV and the Business Angels Network Germany eV.
