Kick-off meeting of the Cluster-Dialog.NRW
The first meeting of the Cluster Dialog.NRW, a new initiative from NRW.innovativ, took place on January 26, 2022.
The new networking initiative is intended to specifically support and coordinate the exchange of information and experiences between clusters and networks in North Rhine-Westphalia in the future. During the event, around 25 nationwide active clusters and networks, representatives of the Ministry of Economics, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy and the NRW.innovativ team came together for an initial exchange.
The kick-off meeting focused in particular on getting to know the NRW cluster community for the first time and discussing unused potential within the NRW innovation ecosystem. In addition, Dr. Jan-Philipp Kramer from NRW.innovativ first insights into the cluster ecosystem in NRW. Initial insights show that the NRW clusters have a variety of areas of competence in the innovation fields of NRW's regional innovation strategy (2021-2027) and address current trends in ecological and digital change. Discussions with the clusters and networks made it clear that there is a need for support in networking and community building, matching with suitable partners and support for access to funding. The upcoming events will therefore focus on networking needs and cross-clustering topics.
