Pioneering initiative in NRW and beyond
The BMWK is launching a groundbreaking project: “Training cluster 4.0 in the lignite regions”. With a budget of up to 1.96 million euros per cluster over 3.5 years, this initiative aims to increase the quality and attractiveness of dual training in the lignite regions, including the Rhenish mining district in North Rhine-Westphalia.
A “Training Cluster 4.0” is made up of industry-specific companies, start-ups and other educational actors to work together on redesigning dual vocational training. Core topics are CO2-neutral energy, innovation, digitalization and education.
Who can take part? Associations of at least five actors from the economic sector who want to shape the future of their region together. Applications can be submitted until November 13, 2023.
Support is guaranteed: The project sponsor VDI/VDE-IT offers a wide range of networking activities, qualification measures and further training.
