5G.NRWeek in NRW: Mobile communications meets sustainability
Discover the exciting world of mobile technology while the Competence Center 5G.NRW presents the fourth 5G.NRWeek from November 13th to 16th under the motto “5G and Digitainability – What’s going on in NRW?” The week of events offers everything from virtual focus sessions to the final annual conference on the historic site of the Zollverein Coal Mine in Essen.
The highlights:
- Monday, November 13th: Dive into Edge Computing in the Wild.
- Tuesday, November 14: Explore the innovation potential of 5G.
- Wednesday November 15th: Take a look into the future with a session on 6G THz.
- Thursday, November 16th: Annual conference with a focus on “Digitainability” – a concept that combines digitalization and sustainability.
The focus is on questions relating to the connection between digitalization and sustainability, the increase in efficiency through 5G and its contribution to social sustainability. In addition, a panel discussion with NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubaur offers exciting insights into the role of 5G in a sustainable society.
The week promises not only insightful discussions, but also practical insights into the current progress and challenges in mobile communications expansion in NRW.
