We are looking for scientific patents from life science research.
The German BioRegions Innovation Prize honors innovative patents from modern biotechnology and life science research, including medical technology. Innovative solutions from the areas of biobased economy and industrial biotechnology are also being sought. For 15 years, the prize has supported scientists in making their patented ideas visible and subsequently turning them into marketable products and founding their own companies.
The target group of the innovation award consists of patent holders and candidates from university and non-university research institutions in Germany. The patents must concern modern biotechnology or medical technology related to biotechnology. Inventions with high transfer and innovation potential are of particular interest in the application.
