Increase the efficiency of production machines: Smart self-learning assistance system for production

The efficiency of production machines is often far below the technical possibilities.

The reason: Experienced employees are often not available in the event of a malfunction, while other workers lack the know-how to correct the actual cause of the error. This is where the self-learning assistance system MADDOX comes in: using machine learning methods, it analyzes machine and process data, uses pattern recognition to look for similar problems in the past and presents the solution on the tablet. The system was developed by Peerox GmbH, a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV.
