Innovative energy efficiency from Kueppers Solutions GmbH

In a world increasingly focused on renewable energy sources and efficiency, Dortmund-based Kueppers Solutions GmbH has achieved a significant breakthrough. Your innovative system, the recuperator burner iRecu®, has been nominated for the German Future Prize 2023. This burner represents a significant advance in industrial thermal process heat generation by drastically reducing natural gas consumption and associated CO2 emissions.

The nominees Jens te Kaat, Bernd-Henning Feller and Dan-Adrian Moldovan have developed a system that is not only more efficient but also more versatile than conventional devices. The iRecu® burner is able to use natural gas as well as other gases such as hydrogen, making it a key tool for the energy transition.

The system is suitable for a variety of industrial applications and can reduce natural gas requirements by 12 to 50 percent compared to conventional burners. This results in a significant reduction in CO2 emissions and reduces nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions by more than half, which is of great benefit to both the environment and human health.

The award ceremony for the German Future Prize 2023, for which Kueppers Solutions GmbH is nominated, will be streamed live on ZDF on November 22nd from 6 p.m. For more detailed information about the innovative technology from Kueppers Solutions GmbH and its implications for industry and the environment, please visit the German Future Prize website.
