CEF Digital promotes network security

In a move to promote digital connectivity and security in Europe, the European Union has invested a significant sum of 252 million euros. This financial injection is part of the CEF Digital Program, which focuses on strengthening digital infrastructure - an undertaking that is crucial for Europe's future viability. The investment will support projects that advance 5G developments and strengthen connectivity within the EU and beyond.

The range of initiatives supported is impressive: from establishing robust submarine cables connecting Europe with its distant regions and international partners to building 5G networks along important transport routes. The projects aim to improve cross-border continuity and support smart communities through state-of-the-art digital infrastructures.

There is still the opportunity to become part of this digital revolution by submitting proposals for the next round of CEF Digital funding calls until February 20, 2024.
