Representatives from the creative industries, administration and industry came together to find out more about the network's work and projects.

On March 25th, the last “CREATIVE.Spaces exploring Good Work” roadshow took place at the creative network KUNST-WERK at the Kaiserhaus in Arnsberg. First, Christoph Meinschäfer, initiator of KUNST-WERK, led the guests through the old industrial halls. The former lighting factory has now become a “think tank” in which photographers, designers, musicians, filmmakers, artists and lighting planners successfully cooperate under one roof and regularly hold workshops, exhibitions, readings and more Organize concerts. In addition to the current exhibition “Bee Death” by the artist Astrid Breuer, there were insights into various studios. Kirsten Minkel from the Arnsberg Cultural Office presented the school sponsorship project to visitors. The aim of the project is to enable students from the region to sponsor studios and thus introduce young people to creative professions.

The fact that KUNST-WERK is already visible and indispensable in the local economy was made clear, among others, by Petra Ohlmeyer, who, as marketing manager for the company Wesco, derives enormous added value for her company from the network's offerings. Dirk Pietz from Trilux also emphasized the relevance that such places have for the development of the work culture in one's own company. He describes KUNST-WERK as an oasis and experimental space that inspires employees and allows them to look at things differently. As one of the five smart cities in South Westphalia, the city of Arnsberg is intensively concerned with digital change. Lars Morgenbrot from the Smart City Arnsberg project emphasized the important role that KUNST-WERK plays as a local network of creatives in this context. After a concert by pianist Roman Babik, the guests came together to network over snacks and drinks.
