The newly presented white paper “Transformation of aviation as an economic opportunity for North Rhine-Westphalia” highlights North Rhine-Westphalia's role as a leading supplier location in the aviation industry. Significant economic opportunities arise as part of the transition to climate-neutral aviation. The state is already an established player with many so-called hidden champions in this industry. The white paper, developed by companies and research institutions together with AeroSpace.NRW, emphasizes how NRW can contribute to climate neutrality through innovative solutions and at the same time strengthen the economy. By connecting regional value chains and using advanced technologies and materials, the aim is to increase innovative strength and create a more resilient industry.
