NRW.innovativ visits the SME Innovation Day
The successful implementation of innovations is essential for strengthening competitiveness and the success of ecological and digital transformation.
German medium-sized businesses make an important contribution to this by driving innovation. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) supports innovative medium-sized companies in the transformation in all phases of the innovation process with diverse and tailored offers.
As part of the BMWK's SME Innovation Day, successful innovations were presented on June 23rd, illustrating the inventiveness of innovative SMEs and the effectiveness of open-topic innovation funding. In addition, visitors had the opportunity to find out first-hand about BMWK's funding and to make contacts with companies and research institutions.
In the run-up to the event, those interested had the opportunity to find out more about the BMWK's numerous funding initiatives and programs, such as the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM) and the Innovation Competence Funding Program (INNO-KOM), in 16 interactive information webinars. This included funding offers and initiatives as well as opportunities to convert ideas into marketable products, processes and services.
