Structural change in the Rhenish district

With the announcement of 19 key projects by the cabinet under the leadership of Economics and Climate Protection Minister Mona Neubaur, structural change is taking on a new dynamic. These projects, from innovative air mobility to sustainable energy production, aim to transform the district into a climate-neutral and economically strong region.

The commitment to a sustainable future is noticeable: the projects cover a wide range of areas such as aviation, renewable energies, sustainable construction and digitalization. They not only offer impulses for a more environmentally friendly way of life, but also for the creation of new jobs and value chains. This paves the way for an innovative, resilient and livable region.

This initiative, supported by comprehensive funding from the federal and state governments, underlines the collective effort to see structural change as an opportunity for sustainable growth. The Rhenish Revier is ready to redefine its role as an important engine of NRW's economic power and to focus on ecological responsibility and technological innovation.
