Developing artificial tissues: Teams are put to the test
The SPRIND Funke initiative calls on new thinkers to take on the urgent challenge of organ transplantation and to find groundbreaking solutions in the development of artificial tissue. This urgently needed artificial tissue could reduce waiting lists and improve the lives of many patients. The developers who present their groundbreaking approaches to replicating natural tissue can receive support of up to 600,000 euros over a period of ten months.
The competition, which takes place in two stages, invites participants to develop advanced concepts that push the boundaries of organ transplantation and represent life-changing innovation.
