Meet the decision-makers in labor market policy

The shortage of skilled workers is one of the biggest challenges for the economy in North Rhine-Westphalia. In order to close this gap, the focus of the event “Diversity in the labor market - Innovative approaches to attracting skilled workers” on using the potential in the labor market. The event will take on May 23, 2024 in Düsseldorf and brings together important representatives from politics and business. Examples and innovative approaches to good talent recruitment are identified and discussed together with

  • Karl-Josef Laumann, Minister for Labor, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Particular attention is paid to the integration of women, older workers, migrants, LGBTIQ* people and people with disabilities. We will discuss together how companies can promote these talents and retain them in the long term through an appreciative organizational culture and targeted support measures.
