Founders from North Rhine-Westphalia, watch out! The renowned competition MUT – THE FOUNDATION PRIZE NRW 2023 has opened its doors. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and NRW.BANK, you now have the opportunity to present your innovative business ideas and win prize money totaling 60,000 euros.
The competition is aimed at all industries and pays respect to the courage and innovative strength of entrepreneurs. In addition to economic performance, criteria such as creativity, social commitment, sustainability and the compatibility of work and family are also taken into account.
The field of participants is broad: whether you run a traditional craft or industrial business, run a service business with a sustainable service concept or are a highly digitalized technology start-up - every start-up from 2018 to 2021 has a chance of winning the prize.
Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, emphasizes how important people who are willing to start a business are. They would act as drivers for sustainable change and progress in society and the economy.
Eckhard Forst, CEO of NRW.BANK, emphasizes the value of young companies and their contribution to the sustainable development of our country.
An expert jury chaired by Prof. Dr. Christine Volkmann will make the decision about the ten nominees and the final three winners. The celebratory award ceremony will take place on October 23, 2023 in Düsseldorf.
