NRW.innovativ and regions.NRW will discuss regional highlights in the development of innovation ecosystems and innovation promotion at the second interregional exchange of experiences
Learning from each other – inspiring conversations and in-depth knowledge exchange between regions.NRW and NRW.innovativ were the focus of the second interregional exchange of experiences. On August 22, 2023, representatives from the nine regional development organizations, MWIKE and NRW.innovativ met.
After a short impulse from Dr. Arndt on the competence center's current activities and offerings, three regions shared their experiences in important projects in long-term innovation ecosystem development and innovation promotion. The highlights show best practices in the development of the (supra) regional innovation ecosystem. The participants discussed success factors in the areas of networking, business participation and financing.
Some key findings are:
- Drivers and emotionality: Charismatic leaders can inspire others through their passion and vision and significantly shape the commitment and dynamics within an innovation ecosystem.
- Strong partnerships: Collaboration is key. Successful projects rely on partnerships that combine different strengths and perspectives to find innovative solutions.
- Effective communication: Open and regular communication promotes understanding and keeps all stakeholders informed. Clarity prevents misunderstandings and strengthens commitment.
- Building trust and concrete added value: a lively innovation community is based on trusting collaboration in which all partners see added value.
