Support NRW on its way to becoming a climate-neutral industrial region

North Rhine-Westphalia is once again looking for the best ideas for sustainable growth. The ninth KUER.NRW business plan competition offers founders from the environmental industry the opportunity to present their innovative concepts and receive extensive support on the way to starting a business.

Opportunities for green start-ups in North Rhine-Westphalia

Participants in the competition not only have the opportunity to win prize money totaling 15,000 euros, but also to be supported by an experienced team of experts. This support includes the development of a viable business plan and the production of professional corporate videos. The aim of the competition is to transform North Rhine-Westphalia into the first climate-neutral industrial region in Europe and at the same time to create sustainable jobs.

Extensive support and support

The KUER.NRW business plan competition is aimed at individuals or start-up teams from North Rhine-Westphalia. Over a period of five months, the participants receive individual support and receive coaching offers that offer them insights into the basics of creating a business plan and the various funding programs. At the end of this phase there is a finished business plan that will also stand up to investors.

Milestones in the environmental economy

With the KUER.NRW competition and the ERDF lead market competition EnergieUmweltwirtschaft.NRW, important measures to promote the environmental economy in NRW were initiated ten years ago. Under the motto #MilestonesGreenNRW, previous successes will be presented and new measures introduced. These include the first Green Start-up Monitor NRW, the awarding of the Umweltwirtschaftspreis.NRW and the SUMMIT Umweltwirtschaft.NRW.
