The lighthouse project Artificial Intelligence and Digital Offensive for HANDwerk in NRW (KIDiHa) invites you to an event on November 8, 2024 with the title “AI in Craft: Current Status – Trends – Perspectives”. The event includes keynote speeches, discussion rounds and interactive stations on the topic of AI in crafts. Also Dr. Christian Temath, Managing Director of KI.NRW, will give a lecture.

Digitalization and the use of AI offer the trade many opportunities, but also bring with it challenges. The results of the “AI Index Handwerk.NRW”, which according to KIDiHa represents the largest and most comprehensive study to date on AI in skilled trades in Germany, will be presented at the event. This study shows how craft businesses are currently positioned in these areas and where they see great potential.

The program is supported by contributions from experts such as Dr. Christian Temath from KI.NRW, Dr. Thomas König from the Ministry of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MWIKE), Mark Schnitzler from the Aachen Chamber of Crafts and the Academy for Craft Design as well as representatives from craft businesses .

Admission to the event is free, but registration is requested.
