CREATIVE.NRW, the competence center for the creative industries of North Rhine-Westphalia, is once again launching the competition for the title “Creative Pioneers NRW”. We are looking for creative minds who want to master the challenges of the future with innovative ideas and projects. The initiative is aimed at entrepreneurs, start-ups and freelancers from the creative industries who have a positive influence on society, culture and the economy through their work.

What are the creative pioneers of NRW?

The “Kreativpioniere NRW” is a network of creative and entrepreneurial talents who develop future-oriented solutions through their work. The aim of the initiative is to further strengthen the importance of the creative industries in North Rhine-Westphalia and to create a space for exchange and cooperation. The selected creative pioneers receive access to an exclusive funding program for one year. This includes individual coaching, workshops and networking events to support participants on their path to success.

Who can apply?

Individuals and teams working in the creative industries, for example in the areas of design, fashion, architecture, film, music or digital media, can apply. What is crucial is that the projects or business models are innovative and socially relevant. Ideas that drive change towards a more sustainable and socially just world are particularly welcome.

Support and visibility

The “Creative Pioneers NRW” not only benefit from an extensive mentoring program, but also from increased visibility. By being integrated into the CREATIVE.NRW network, participants gain access to valuable contacts within the creative scene as well as to decision-makers from business and politics. This opens doors to new cooperation opportunities and markets.

Application process

Applications are possible from now until October 31st. Those interested can apply using an online form on the CREATIVE.NRW . A jury of industry experts will select the most promising projects that have the potential to be both economically successful and socially relevant.
