The “NRW – Changing Economy” competition offers companies in North Rhine-Westphalia the opportunity to demonstrate their innovative strength and adaptability. We are looking for companies that meet challenges such as digitalization and globalization with creative solutions and actively shape the economic transformation process - regardless of whether they are a large, traditional corporation, a family-run craft business or an aspiring start-up. The competition is implemented by “Germany – Land of Ideas” together with the Rheinische Post and the General-Anzeiger Bonn under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Categories and application deadline
Companies can apply until July 1, 2024 in the following three categories:
- Startup
- Crafts and small medium-sized businesses
- Medium-sized businesses and corporations
The jury and selection criteria
The best applications are selected by a jury consisting of experts from politics, business, science and society. A total of nine companies and one entrepreneur will be honored, which are exemplary of the economic progress and future viability of North Rhine-Westphalia and Germany.
Participation and application
To apply, explain how your company has successfully overcome the economic challenges of recent years. Show how, by changing your processes, products or services, you not only make a positive contribution to your company, but also to North Rhine-Westphalia as a location.
