The industry brings together numerous small and medium-sized companies, large international corporations and research-intensive institutions along the value chain at the location. kunststoffland NRW is actively building on this excellent basis and, as a network, is committed to the interests and needs of the industry.
We connect the entire plastic value chain with our members and thus achieve a comprehensive exchange. We keep an overview of actors and their activities in the country and link them together in a meaningful way. As a mouthpiece for politics, we give our members a voice and represent their interests in a targeted manner. As part of the state's lead market policy, the kunststoffland NRW association was also appointed as the sponsor of the state competence network of the same name.

Dr. Ron Brinitzer
Dr. Ron Brinitzer has been managing director of kunststoffland NRW eV since 2022
After studying economics with a focus on energy and environmental economics and then completing his doctorate, he received his Ph.D. rer. pole. Mr. Brinitzer worked as a consultant for economics, medium-sized businesses and technology in the CDU parliamentary group in North Rhine-Westphalia. This was followed by various positions in the North Rhine-Westphalia state government - including as office manager and personal advisor to the Minister of Economic Affairs and the Minister of Transport and as group leader for energy industry and technology within the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Most recently, Mr. Brinitzer held the position of managing director of the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein for the environmental, planning and construction business areas; International; Transport and infrastructure with responsibility for Neuss.
