ORGANIC NRW

North Rhine-Westphalia is the leading innovation center for biotechnology in Europe. Research from over 50 universities is put into application by more than 500 life science companies, including 112 companies with a proven focus on biotechnology. Incremental to this are over 60 technology and start-up centers, which support the networking of universities, companies and investors as incubators to create start-up companies.

As a central interface, BIO.NRW catalyzes the sustainable development of the strengths of North Rhine-Westphalia's biotechnology and bioeconomy.

Dr. Nils Schrader

Nils Schrader studied biotechnology and received his doctorate in biochemistry.
After various positions at home and abroad, he has been working for the BIO.NRW network since 2009 and in a managerial position since 2018.
