As a high-tech cluster in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the state cluster NanoMikroWerkstoffePhotonik.NRW (NMWP.NRW) is a recognized partner of business, science and the public sector for innovation-promoting services in the area of key technologies with the aim of making NRW a highly competitive and dynamic industry - and research location in the area of the five cross-sectional technologies nanotechnology, nano and microsystems technology, new materials, photonics, and quantum technologies as well as their areas of application - thanks to its well-established network and many years of consulting expertise.
As cross-sectional technologies, these technologies provide numerous impulses for the sustainable solution of global challenges in almost all areas, for example from resource efficiency to the energy industry to climate-friendly mobility and new diagnostic and medication procedures in the health sector.

Dr.-Ing. Harald Cremer
Dr.-Ing. Harald Cremer is a qualified engineer and received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen in the field of materials science and engineering. He has held senior positions in academia, industry and the public sector for almost 20 years. As an initiator of various projects and initiatives on key technologies, Dr.-Ing. Cremer, among other things, promotes technology and knowledge transfer from universities to industrial application. Since 2009 he has been working as manager of the NRW state cluster NanoMicroWerkstoffePhotonik.NRW (NMWP.NRW) and represents the interests of players from the areas of nanotechnology, nano- and microsystems technology, new materials, photonics and related fields of application.
