With AeroSpace.NRW, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy (MWIKE) of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia has launched a new network for the aerospace industry. The central goal is to increase the innovative strength and competitiveness of the NRW economy in the field of aerospace.

Rapid technological progress and social requirements, for example with regard to resource conservation and climate protection, are important opportunities for meeting current challenges such as increasing international competition and the consequences of the corona pandemic. Our goal is to increase the innovative strength and competitiveness of the NRW economy in the field of aerospace by promoting cooperation between companies, research institutions, politics and society in order to create jobs and develop sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies.

Dr.-Ing. Harald Cremer

Dr.-Ing. Harald Cremer is a qualified engineer and received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen in the field of materials science and engineering. He has held senior positions in academia, industry and the public sector for almost 20 years. As an initiator of various projects and initiatives on key technologies, Dr.-Ing. Cremer, among other things, promotes technology and knowledge transfer from universities to industrial application. Since 2021 he has been working as manager of the NRW network AeroSpace.NRW and represents the interests of the actors from NRW.
