Information about current calls: Apply now!

The Cascade Funding Calls offer small and medium-sized companies and start-ups a great opportunity to receive EU funding of up to 200,000 euros. These programs, which are part of Horizon Europe's framework program, are characterized by a simple application process and rapid evaluation.

Open calls 

There are an average of five new calls every month, which are usually open for three months. In most cases, companies receive feedback one to two months after submitting the application. Some of the current calls are listed here:

Chameleon 2nd Open Call

  • Topic: Drones, Agri-Tech
  • Eligible: SMEs
  • Budget: 60,000 euros
  • Application deadline: June 30, 2024

The aim of the Chameleon project is to develop a drone system for air operations through heterogeneous agent networks. The system should be compatible with existing systems and function autonomously.

XR4ED Open Call

  • Topic: XR technology, EdTech
  • Eligible: individual SMEs or a consortium of max. 3 companies
  • Budget: Up to 230,000 euros
  • Application deadline: July 3, 2024

Bringing together educational technology (EdTech) and augmented reality (XR): that is the goal of the XR4ED project. The aim is to create a platform for learning and training with XR. There are two grants for this: one for developers who want to further develop the XR4ED platform and one for the implementation and demonstration of XR developments.

COROB Open Call

  • Topic: Robotics, AI
  • Eligible: SMEs, start-ups
  • Budget: Up to 150,000 euros
  • Application deadline: July 8, 2024

The COROB project supports companies in automated welding technology and additive manufacturing by using and optimizing multi-robot and AI technologies. The focus is on saving time, costs, energy and resources. The testing will take place in two semi-industrial applications for arc welding and wire arc additive manufacturing, with the possibility of being expanded to other processes.

EuroBoosTEX Internationalization Grant

  • Topic: Textiles
  • Eligible: SMEs, start-ups
  • Budget: Up to 12,000 euros
  • Application deadline: July 17, 2024

The EuroBoosTEX project supports textile companies in sustainable and digital transformation and in opening up new markets. It promotes the networking of textile networks and develops services for talent acquisition and innovation. With tools to promote innovation potential and internationalization, EuroBoosTEX strengthens the competitiveness of SMEs and start-ups, especially for expansion plans to Australia.

Enfield 1st Open Call

  • Topic: Research & Development
  • Eligible: SMEs, universities and large companies
  • Budget: 60,000 euros (70% funding rate)
  • Application deadline: July 31, 2024

The Enfield Innovation Program supports companies in attracting world-class research and development facilities to carry out essential research projects in specific scientific and technological areas of the Enfield Project. The aim is to promote new approaches and overcome significant technological challenges. The focus is on the areas of energy, healthcare, production and space travel.

Local for local

  • Topic: Finance
  • Eligible: SMEs
  • Budget: Up to 60,000 euros
  • Application deadline: August 31, 2024

The project promotes the regional economy through microcredit and the decentralized financial system “Locasus-B”. It enables interest-free loans and supports local communities. NGI technologies ensure efficiency, transparency and security. A robust software stack strengthens the rural economy and achieves positive socio-economic effects.
