NRW honors innovative entrepreneurs: Applications possible until August 4th
With the MUT – THE FOUNDATION PRIZE NRW 2024, North Rhine-Westphalia offers a platform for founders, successors and freelancers. In 2024, for the thirteenth time, particularly successful and innovative business ideas will be awarded lucrative prize money (up to 30,000 euros).
COURAGE – THE FOUNDATION PRIZE NRW 2024 is organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in collaboration with NRW.BANK. The aim is to recognize outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and strengthen the culture of self-employment in North Rhine-Westphalia. The competition is open to all industries.
Prize money and benefits for participants
The competition not only awards prize money, but also offers participants other benefits:
- Price: 30,000 euros
- Price: 20,000 euros
- Price: 10,000 euros
In addition, participants benefit from media reporting, professional film and image recordings as well as expanded networking opportunities in the start-up scene in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Conditions of participation and evaluation criteria
Companies that have their headquarters in North Rhine-Westphalia and were founded between 2019 and 2022 are eligible to participate. In addition, the company should have a viable business model and be economically successful. Both new companies and company successors of small and medium-sized companies and freelancers are addressed. Applications are also possible for part-time businesses and businesses founded out of unemployment. The evaluation is carried out by a jury of experts who, in addition to economic success and innovative strength, also take into account criteria such as the compatibility of family and work as well as social commitment and environmentally conscious actions.
Event dates and application
The application phase ends on August 4, 2024. The jury meeting will take place on September 11, 2024 and the award ceremony on October 28, 2024.
