More than 4,000 projects funded and counting!
The Mittelstand Innovativ & Digital (MID) funding program of the Ministry for Economy, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is being realigned. After over 4,000 successfully funded projects since 2020, the revised program aims to provide more specific support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with digitalization initiatives and resource efficiency.
The three central program areas now include:
- MID assistant : SMEs receive funding for the recruitment of university graduates who focus on project-related resource and energy efficiency and the use of climate-friendly technologies.
- MID-Digital Security : SMEs have the opportunity to shorten their project duration and receive additional support for the purchase of security hardware and software.
- MID digitalization : In a new focus, SMEs can now also receive support for the digitalization of processes. This includes the purchase of industry-specific hardware and software.
