DLR invites submissions of project outlines for the flying test platform D328UpLift – deadline: November 12, 2025
As part of the seventh national civil aviation research program, LuFo Klima VII, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is funding innovative research projects aimed at reducing climate-relevant emissions in aviation. The current call for proposals, LuFo Klima VII-1, is aimed at projects that contribute to the development of climate-neutral technologies and the improvement of energy efficiency in air transport.
Particular emphasis is placed on the use of the DLR's D328UpLift (D-CUPL) flying test platform. Interested research institutions and companies can submit project outlines until 12:00 noon on November 12, 2025.
The funding is divided into two announcements:
- LuFo Klima VII-1: Focus on energy saving, resource efficiency and social acceptance.
- LuFo Klima VII-1 KTF: Focus on climate-neutral drive technologies.
Projects eligible for funding must fall within one of the defined program lines and disciplines. Advice on the application process and required documentation is available.
