GEMESYS from Bochum achieves first place with a sustainable business model

Green innovations can contribute to long-term climate protection. The North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of the Environment aims to strengthen the environmental sector in the state. Against this backdrop, it annually holds the KUER.NRW business plan competition. On December 5th, Environment Minister Oliver Krischer announced the winners for 2022. First place went to the Bochum-based start-up GEMESYS, which has developed a novel computer architecture that improves energy efficiency and. reduces CO2 emissions

The KUER.NRW business plan competition is aimed particularly at founders from the climate, environment, energyand resourceconservation (KUER) sectors and is carried out on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport together with Pro Ruhrgebiet eV and the Business Angels Network Germany eV.
