The state and the EU are funding 16 forward-looking projects with over 25 million euros
As part of the "NeueWege.IN.NRW" innovation competition, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union have selected 16 projects for funding, all focused on networked, digital, and sustainable mobility and logistics solutions. A total of €25.6 million is available for this purpose. The funded projects range from AI-supported deployment routes for the police and autonomous transport drones to innovative hydrogen logistics platforms. The aim is to advance the transport revolution, strengthen climate protection, and counteract the shortage of skilled workers through the use of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and digitalization. The projects demonstrate in a practical way how technological innovations can make mobility more efficient, climate-friendly, and suitable for everyday use.
