FORUM CLIMATE RESILIENCE NRW in the Ministry of the Environment and Transport

Companies are affected by the increasing climate risks in different ways and intensity. However, they also take measures to adapt to climate, be it through innovative solutions from the growing climate adaptation industry in North Rhine-Westphalia or through strategic and practical adaptations in their corporate environment. To gain a comprehensive insight into the current state of corporate response to the challenges of climate change, it is time to exchange ideas. The Climate Resilience NRW Forum on March 27, 2023 offers an ideal opportunity for this.

The forum is organized by the Klimaadaptation & Unternehmens.NRW network and will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Oliver Krischer, the Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia, will open the event, which offers an extensive and interesting program. Experts such as the meteorologist, climate researcher and astronaut Dr. Insa Thiele-Eich or the climate economist Prof. Dr. Reimund Schwarze from the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research will be there. Strategies, products and services for climate adaptation are presented using concrete examples. Four specialist sessions taking place in parallel offer insights into different areas of the climate adaptation industry.
