Successful completion of AI4Mobile

The Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute has announced that the AI4Mobile research project has been successfully completed. The project was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research with 5.1 million euros as part of the federal government's high-tech strategy. The aim of the project was to test AI-based communication solutions for various mobility applications and to make mobile communications systems and networks future-proof. A central focus of the project was to develop advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning methods to enable precise prediction of service quality under high mobility. The consortium, consisting of various companies and research institutions, identified various use cases from the areas of transport and industry and analyzed them with regard to their respective requirements. A large part of the data sets generated and the software for the data processing chain are to be published.
