Who are the applicants?

Small, medium-sized and large companies with headquarters or branch in the Rhenish mining region (Aachen city region, Mönchengladbach city, Düren district, Heinsberg district, Rhein-Erft district and Rhein-Kreis Neuss district) or northern Ruhr area (Bottrop, Dorsten, Gladbeck and Marl cities) are eligible to participate.

Companies that want to establish a branch there are also eligible to participate.

Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Mona Neubaur: “With this new funding program, we want to create targeted incentives for companies to establish themselves or expand production sites in the Rhenish mining region and the northern Ruhr area in order to develop or produce innovative technologies.
