NMWP.NRW

The state cluster NanoMicroMaterialsPhotonics.NRW (NMWP.NRW) is a recognized high-tech cluster in North Rhine-Westphalia, serving as a partner to industry, academia, and the public sector for innovation-promoting services in key technologies. Its goal is to make North Rhine-Westphalia a highly competitive and dynamic industrial and research location in the five cross-cutting technologies of nanotechnology, nano- and microsystems technology, new materials, photonics, and quantum technologies, as well as their applications – thanks to its well-established network and many years of consulting expertise.
As cross-cutting technologies, these technologies provide numerous impulses for the sustainable solution of global challenges in almost all areas, from resource efficiency and the energy sector to climate-friendly mobility and new diagnostic and medication procedures in the healthcare sector.
