The increasing complexity of mobility systems creates a high demand for development and testing, as well as challenges in implementation in real-world operations that individual stakeholders can hardly overcome alone.

As a central and neutral point of contact, the innocam.NRW competence network connects stakeholders from business, science, administration, and society, providing knowledge about new technologies and networked transport systems. To this end, the network organizes mode-specific working groups on mobility by road, rail, water, and air. Together with its diverse event formats, innocam.NRW facilitates both low-threshold access and intensive, peer-to-peer professional exchange, thereby creating space for open dialogue, joint projects, and mutual inspiration.

The network of experts compiles information and consulting services tailored to specific target groups – from studies, position papers, and market analyses for companies and start-ups to information and training programs for municipalities and transport companies. Transparent information services and the early integration of societal perspectives are also intended to promote acceptance, understanding, and trust in new forms of mobility.
