Dr. Schneider-Bertenburg
Dr. Lino Schneider-Bertenburg is an expert in defense, security, and innovation research, specializing in European research and technology funding. At the VDI Technology Center, he heads the National Contact Point for the European Defence Fund (EDF) and advises companies and research institutions on funding opportunities in the defense and security sector.
Previously, he worked, among other things, as an advisor to the Chancellors' Conference of Universities of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia and as a research assistant at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. His academic and professional career combines technology policy analysis, economic and contemporary history, as well as research and innovation policy.
